OUR CITY

Hermosillo: A Rising Star Among Nearshoring Destinations

Air-mo-see-yo

Called “The Capital of the Northwest” by some, our little big city is hot in weather (121.1°F all-time high), and hot in tech talent. The city had 784,342 people as of 2010, but we still call it a big town.

Hermosillo has at least seven universities with IT-related careers. Electronics and IT are the largest employers by both revenue and number of employees, accounting for about thirty percent of the jobs in the city. In 2013, Standard & Poor’s ratified Hermosillo’s mxA/Stable rating based on its robust and diversified economy, sound growth prospects, and strong management policies.

A FAMILIAR PLACE

In the development business, communication is key. There’s nothing worse than working on a project and finding too late that your remote team in an Offshore location like India did not understand your conditions correctly. We get it. We speak your language, we listen to the same music, we root for the same sports teams, etc. Nothing will be lost in translation. You don’t believe it? The only thing that separates us is a one hour long flight from Phoenix. Come visit us anytime, but don’t forget to check the weather listings first!

Nothing will seem strange here. While locally owned business still predominate this sector, international brands such as Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, The Home Depot, Lowe’s, McDonald’s, BWW, Domino’s Pizza, Dairy Queen, IHOP, Subway, Carl’s Junior and others are abundant.
